Owl Prowl at Amy's Park
with Ornithologist and Educator Alan Belford
October 6, 2018
Join us for our annual favorite - a evening/night-time hike in search of owls at Amy's Park.
This year's prowl will be led by Ornithologist and Educator Alan Belford, who is back by popular demand after leading an excellent birding walk through Amy's Park this summer!
Check out Alan's barred owl call Here!
Learn the different sounds of the common species of owls found in the area and listen carefully as we try to meet some up close. In addition, Alan will identify and teach about all of the different bird and duck species living at the Preserve.

Headlamps are recommended as the hike will take place at dusk and go into the evening.
Guide will have a med kit and emergency supplies while on the hike. No bathrooms will be available at Amy’s, please plan accordingly.
All participants will be required to fill out a waiver prior. Weather is subject to cancellation due to weather.
